It is not uncommon to think, “Why pray together when you can pray alone?” Coming together can sometimes feel like a hassle amidst the 101 things on our plates. But the true reality is that no prayer meeting is a waste of time.
There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer. – A.T. Pierson
Revivalists of history often testify that prayer meetings are the engine rooms of revival. Powerful things happen when the church prays. Prayer meetings are where we hunger for God and for the things of God together. As we humble ourselves to pray and seek His face in united intercession, we have confidence that God hears and will respond in His powerful ways (2 Chron 7:14, 1 John 5:14-15) in our lives, our families, our church, and our land.
Let’s anticipate God’s greater manifestation of His glory and power, believing for His purposes to prevail and unfold in and through Trinity as we pray.
